August 2007: Stanford Hall Show & Show Review!

Stanford Hall Show, nr Lutterworth, is taking place on Sunday 9 September 2007 10:30am - 4pm. 
Its one of the best summer shows, organised by the National Mini Owners Club and one of the most scenic
set on the banks of the River Avon in the grounds of a stately home. Please contact us if you'd like to 
come on Belper Mini's first major show Club Stand!

Tickets cost: £10/mini (£8 for NMOC members). So you can bring as many people as you can fit in your 
mini for a single ten pound note. We think the record is 16. Best buy them in advance from here to 
avoid the queue on the day (but you can purchase on the day if you choose to). More info on the

Convoy? Yes we'll meet at 9:30am at M1 Junction 23A Donnington services then drive down the M1.
Please get back to us asap if you'd like to come on the Club Stand as we need to know numbers. 
We have to send the booking form off as places are getting full up.

The next Mini Meeting 30 August at Hill Top Inn 8 - 10pm. Details of the Mini run for Sept will be finalised.

The weather was absolutely grim for the Hucknall show but improved significantly for Crich... have a look

May 2007: Mini Run & Upcoming Shows!

Belper Mini Club are holding their 2nd Mini Run of 2007 on Sunday 3 June at 4:30pm.  Meet at Hill Top

The first Belper Mini Club Stand will be at Hucknall Classic Car Show at Rolls Royce Airfield, Hucknall, 
Notts on 24 June. Pop along and see us!

Get in touch now if you'd like to join the Belper Mini Club Stand at Crich Mini Meet on 8 July 2007 at 
Crich Tramway Museum. Contact us and two free tickets (worth £17) will be allocated to you as well as a 
free car pass, souvenir plaque and windscreen sticker. If interested please contact us asap as the Club 
Stand Form has to be sent off soon as places are limited! 

As usual, the Next Mini Meeting is at Hill Top Inn at 8pm on the last Thursday of the month, i.e. 31 May.

Apr 2007: Mini Run Season Imminent!

Belper Mini Club are holding their first Sunday Mini Run of 2007 so dust off the winter cobwebs from your 
mini and meet us at Hill Top Inn, Belper on Sunday 22 April at 4:30pm. The run will probably take about 
2 hours and there'll be a "refuelling" stop at a Pub along the way.

Feb 2007: New Venue and Website!

Meetings are now held at 8pm on the last Thursday of every month at the NEW VENUE of the Hill Top 
Inn, 178 Belper Lane End, Belper, DE56 2UJ. All classic mini enthusiasts welcome. Also, as you can see we 
now have a brand new spanking website! More content to follow shortly...

Jan 2007: Bingley Hall show

A handful of Belper Minis made the journey to Bingley Hall in Staffs for the British Mini Fair which was held 
on January 28th 2007. Among the attractions were the pink Mini which featured in the M&S TV advertisements,
various trade stalls and in the Pride Of Ownership exhibition, our club members Sue and Alastair Gray's 1960
cherry red Mk1 Mini.

Nov 2006: Charity Night

The Belper Mini Club charity night, held on November 25th 2006 at the Black Bulls Head in Openwoodgate, 
Belper, raised £410 for the Derbyshire Association For The Blind. The evening featured quizzes, a raffle, and
live music from local musician Stuart Kirk. Thanks to everyone who organised, attended and contributed.

Oct 2006: Belper Mini Club in Belper News!

A small article in Belper News about the Mini Club was published on 4 October 2006. It is a appeal for new 
members to join our Mini crusade. The photo was taken after our Sunday Mini Run on 1 October 2006 
outside the original venue for the club, The Black Bulls Head. For 2007 meets have been relocated to the 
Hill Top Inn. Photos of this run and others will be available to view soon.
